Job Description

Serves as IT Intern in Bowen Center’s IT Department

-Reviews requests for support from all departments within Bowen Center

-Assists IBowen colleagues in providing service and support in person and remotely.

-Investigates minor to high work orders for all levels of support issues.

-Learns account management for creation and removal of accounts,  does not take part in active maintenance of accounts.

-Applies application and OS patches and updates as requested.

-Installs basic corporate approved and licensed hardware and software on desktop,  laptop,  and tablet computers.

-Completes the imaging process on any assigned workstation.

-Recover from customer location existing workstations no longer in use and process for disposal per currently established procedures.

Department Education /  Quality Assurance

-Previously participated in education initiatives during Entry-Level Internship.

-Expected to participate in any active quality assurance and improvement effort.

-Is expected to document work completed within the Help Desk /  Service Desk environment while participating in the internship experience.

-Consistently works with full time colleagues to learn and show evolution and IT understanding through knowledge sharing.

-Assists with special projects as needed.
